What is your platform?
I am the change candidate. To counter years of environmental inaction, my plan calls for a return to recycling and commitment to renewable energy. Over the last decade, housing costs, homelessness, and poverty rates have risen. My plan will increase the supply and quality of housing and bring in high wage jobs. Now, our city commission lacks the votes to stop discrimination against LGBTQ citizens. I will vote to pass a fairness ordinance. Today we have confusion about the rights of landlords and tenants, but I will vote to pass URLTA. The prior mayor has seldom been seen or heard during the pandemic. I will address the city regularly. Today the city workforce does not reflect the diversity of our citizens. I will vote to assure that applicants of color are not overlooked in hiring and promotions. For details see morrisforbg.com.
